SAN MARCOS - Adriana Perez, 45, died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, at her home. Born May 1, 1961, in Guadalajara, Mexico, she lived in San Marcos for four years. She lived in San Diego for 24 years previously. She was a records technician for the Veterans Administration for 15 years.

ESCONDIDO ---- School officials are considering buying properties near the Escondido Union High School District offices to build a small high school that they say would help relieve overcrowding in the district and create a unique educational opportunity.

MURRIETA ---- Stephani Ann Schneider, 56, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, in La Jolla. Born Aug. 4, 1949, in Indiana, she lived in Riverside County for 19 years. She was a middle school special education teacher for Murrieta Valley Unified School District.
Lee Enterprises Newspapers Report Circulation Gains

I have been an Escondido resident for 40 years. I've seen a lot of good things happen, but lately I have been bothered by the photo light signals going in. I realize it is against the law to run a red light. The new photo light at Valley Parkway and Auto Parkway is very suspect, in my opinion.
